3/4 Grade Division

Skill level required: None, all levels welcome. 2nd Graders with experience are welcome to participate (experience = prior Seminole team participation - Hooville Travel or Seminole Summer Program).

Description: 

 

Days/Dates: Practice begins the week of February 17th, 2020.  Games begin March 22 and the season concludes on May 17, 2020.  Practices will be held 1-2 times per week with games on Sundays.

 

Team make up: No set teams. Teams will be selected each week on Sundays prior to game time.

 

Practices: Weekly Practices.  Option 1 – AHS, Option 2 – WAHS, Option 3 – MHS.  Go to the location which works best for you – attend all 3 options if you wish but must attend minimum of 1 per week.

 

Format: 4v4 or 6v6 – smaller field and small goals w/ no goalie

Philosophy/Goals: To teach fundamental skills and team concepts in a positive manner. Emphasis on respect and cooperation between the players, coaches, and officials to ensure a safe and fun environment for everyone.

Format:  US Lacrosse U10 rules and guidelines. Absolutely no body checking or one handed stick checking allowed at this level.  All players will play equal amounts of time and have the opportunity to rotate through all field positions.

Equipment Needed:  Field players are required to wear a helmet, mouthpiece, shoulder pads, arm pads, and gloves.  A protective cup is required, rib pads, and cleats are recommended, but not required.  Stick: sticks lengths are required to be between 37-42
